I love how you defined belonging to yourself here, Kim, and can also totally relate to what you shared about people pleasing. It's hard when you realize that you don't know yourself - your own likes or wants or voice - because you've been ignoring them so long in service of others.
I also love the questions you shared. They're really great for pondering! For #2, I just started a new practice this month, where I'm keeping a self-love/compliments journal. I got the idea from someone else I follow online, and my goal is to write at least one thing in it every day that I love or like about myself - a compliment for myself, something I'm proud of doing that day, a trait that feels in alignment with my core self, etc. My hope is that by doing this, I will collect evidence over time of the value I already inherently have, especially beyond anything looks-based, which I'm hoping will build my confidence and sense of self-love.
When I remember to do it, tapping helps me to connect to, avcept, and love myself.
Lovely. Thanks for sharing that. I don’t have much experience with tapping.
Really needed to read this Kim this week. So beautifully written and here's to showing up as our true selves.
I’m so glad it met you when you needed it, Clem ❤️

Thank you for sharing that beautiful practice, Leslie. What a simple and thoughtful way to build trust in your inherent value!
What a wonderful little bonbon for me to enjoy.
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
